The vintage set is made of 18 karat yellow gold, amethyst and diamond. The vintage necklace has twenty round amethyst beads graduating from 14 mm down to 10 mm in diameter. The diamonds are round brilliant cut (G-H color, VS clarity, total weight approximately 5.20 carats). The necklace measures 19-1/2" (48 cm) long, the "pretzel" part measures 1-1/4" x 1" (3.4 x 2.6 cm). The French necklace weighs 150.9 grams. The necklace is stamped with Chaumet, Paris maker’s mark and French hallmark for 18 karat gold. The vintage earrings hold oval cabochon amethyst (15.13 x 13.57 x 8.94 mm) and are accented with round brilliant cut diamonds (G-H color, VS clarity, total weight approximately 0.30 carat). The French earrings measure 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" (3.5 x 2.8 cm) and weigh 34.0 grams. They are clip-on, the posts can be added. The earrings are stamped with Chaumet, Paris maker’s mark and French hallmark for 18 karat gold.
