The necklace is 18 inches (46 cm) long. The beads are graduating from 8.8 to 3.2 mm. The necklace weighs 64.2 grams. The clasp is made of platinum and features an old cushion cut diamond (I-J color, VS1 clarity, approximately 0.50 carat) flanked with a pear-shaped cabochon opal on each side (approximately 0.30 carat total weight). The clasp is stamped with a hallmark for platinum.
