Wonderful brooch c. 1870s that is a great addition to your collection. Weight is 56.3 grams Made of 18k Rose/Yellow Gold, Diamonds, Silver Approximately 15 Carats of Diamonds; Old Mine Cuts (in the center of the flowers & on some leaves) + Rose Cut Diamonds Measurements – Height: 5.5” Width: a little under 2.5” This brooch is “en tremblant, ” a French term for “trembling, ” meaning that all of the flowers have motion, and are placed on springs / attached to a trembler. A technique utilized in 19th and 18th century jewelry making Stamped with a French marks
