A Collectors Wonderland Auction LIV
Lot 6:
A high-quality 18K gold Etruscan-style Italian charm/pendant set with turquoise cabochons and concealing a hidden compartment in the bottom. The exposed gold surfaces are decorated with twisted wirework and beading, and the top shoulder has an unusual “horn” decoration that we’ve never seen before. Etruscan charms with compartments are very rare. Origin: Italy, ca 1955 Condition: excellent Dimensions: 1-1/4 wide x 1-1/2 high (excluding jump ring) Weight: 14.6 grams
