Jewelry Show Day 1
Lot 657:
Here we have a marvellous ruby and diamond cluster ring crafted during the pinnacle of the Art Deco movement. A daisy cluster consisting of round faceted old European cut diamonds sits at the centre of an open face which is contained, firstly, by a lozenge shaped bordering and then a circulating array of square calibrated rubies in yellow gold and rose cut diamonds in platinum around the outer edge. A perfectly handcrafted milgrain detailing is consistent throughout the face which is flanked on either side by wide graduating shoulders before the piece is finished with a matching plain 18ct yellow gold shank.
