A lavish vintage Cartier brooch of a flower design, made of 18k gold.¬†This exuberant flower was created by layering together heart-shape gold petals to create a three-dimensional effect. Each petal is generously covered with a whimsically hammered pattern. A rhombus shaped center completes the piece. The flower resembles floral elements from Celtic patterns, yet it can be seen as an exotic, or completely non-existent, floret.¬† This stunning Cartier brooch can be put on a chain and worn as a pendant.¬† The vintage brooch is made of 18 karat (stamped) yellow gold.¬† The vintage Cartier pin measures 2-1/2" x 2" (6.7 x 5.2 cm) and weighs 50.7 grams.¬†It is stamped with Cartier maker’s mark, hallmark for 18 karat gold, serial number.¬†
